how do I write Jazz music (no lyrics)?

I dont want lyrics, I just want to know how to write the notes. I know how to read them somewhat, but when it comes to making a song, my mind goes blank. I would like a free site to help me, no paying for stuff. Anyone?

VERY difficult question.
Jazz theory is probably one of the most complicated things on Earth, but at the same time it comes naturally to some people.

If you listen to a lot of Jazz and try to play back what you hear, you’ll start to pick up a lot.

It’s good to understand basic 12-bar blues : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve-bar_blues

You would probably want to learn the blues scale, melodic minor scale and a host of other jazz scales: http://www.jazclass.aust.com/scales/scamelm.htm

A good understanding of improv. is good for learning jazz. Knowing musical modes helps you know when to play what licks over what chords: http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/music/abc/doc/Modes.html

Look up stuff on YouTube to learn jazz licks and chords and easy ways to learn where they can apply in a song. I can’t really suggest any, because I don’t know your instrument.

It’s a lot to learn, but as you go along it becomes easier. You don’t have to know it all to compose, but if you want to write stuff down, here’s a site on musical notation: http://numbera.com/musictheory/theory/notation.aspx

Hope it helps, and good luck.
