Does San Diego State have a good music program for jazz or commercial music majors?

I’m in the midst of my first semester at Cal State Fullerton as a jazz studies major with emphasis on guitar, but am considering SDSU because it’s cheaper for me living wise and just have a better network of people available. How does SDSU’s program rank in the jazz/non-classical side? I’m considering the electro-acoustic major (BM) for modern composition, recording, etc. I think I want to transfer but I don’t want to make a mistake. Any thoughts?

Not too sure about SDSU but to give you some help at least.. believe it or not San Diego Community College runs the San Diego jazz scene when it comes to schools in San Diego and the Radio.
Check it out!
