Can anyone give some famous Public Domain jazz music I can search?
There are a lot of famous hymns and traditional jazz songs, such as “Amazing Grace,” “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and “A-tisket A-tasket.” There are also the rags by Scott Joplin, and blues by WC Handy and others.
Warning, not everything in the Real Books is in the public domain. That’s why Real Books were illegal for the longest time, and that’s why the “New Real Books” came out.
