What is an easy Jazz Band instrument for a flutist to play?
I am a flutist, but I’m also going to join Jazz Band. There are saxaphones (alto, tenar, barry), trombones, trumpets, etc in my 8th grade Jazz Band. Which would be the easiest transition for a flutist?
Any of the saxes. I’m a flute player and when I wasn’t playing jazz flute or piano, I would play alto and tenor sax. The fingering is exactly the same except for the higher octave.
