in ncis at kates funeral why does abby play the jazz music?
i know its part of some sort of funeral tradition but i was looking for a more indept answer as to why she plays the jazz music. and also what kind of music does she play before?
It’s because Abby’s from New Orleans and they play jazz music at funerals. they mention it in kill ari part 1 when tim comes down to the lab after she gets shot at. she’s playing a dirge in the lab and tim’s like “i thought you were from new orleans”. abby says “so”? and tims says “well don’t they play jazz at funerals”. and abby says” coming from the cemetery after the body has been buried”.
